Paul Bunyan
Imagine a cabin that balances the tranquility of nature with all the comforts of a resort destination...

Sheltered among the towering silver maple trees of Justin Trails Resort is that cabin. Paul Bunyan is the name. This massive, Scandinavian-scribed log home is formed of aspen, logged from our farm in rural Sparta, Wisconsin. In 1994, we created this 1,000 square foot oasis of plush comfort with your getaway needs in mind...

Little House on the Prairie
This cabin was handcrafted from Jack Pines in the Scandinavian style in 1988. It was built on another site, brought to Justin Trails Resort on hayracks and reassembled. Don Justin completed the carpentry of roofing, gable walls, bathroom, etc. This 12 x 16 foot cabin is perfect for a cozy two-some getaway. The whirlpool is in the loft accessed by a ladder. With the sky light and octagon window, it feels like being in your own treehouse. Sink into the lounge chairs on the veranda to watch a spectacular sunset. Breakfast can be delivered and set up for you on the porch or in the cozy cabin near the fireplace.

1920’s Foursquare House
The bed and breakfast began in this building in 1987 with two guest rooms. It has evolved over the years to have private bathrooms, then whirlpool & fireplace suites. The second floor contains a 400 & 500 square foot suite. Guests who choose Kathryn’s room on the first floor have use of the dining and living room. Guests for the suites need to walk through the living room to ascend the stairs to their suites. The home has gas heat and central air conditioning. There are new hickory floors on the second floor while the flooring on the first floor is maple. All guest rooms in this foursquare are served by satellite television. All food preparation takes place in the Lodge/Restaurant; there are no food cooking smells to wake you early. You may request a basket delivered and served to your suite/room. The innkeepers have their own apartment in the lower concourse.

Presidential Suite
Named after Martin Sheen, who with his wife Jan choose this suite on their visit in 2000. The lattice headboard, lattice surround for the whirlpool tub, twinkle lights and wicker barrel chairs create a romantic/garden theme. With a large white pine tree outside the windows, this suite feels very private. Two rooms were used to create this 500 square foot suite. Just outside the window next to your whirlpool tub for two is a huge silver maple tree. Snuggle in the king size bed with a Prima Loft synthetic featherbed and Ralph Lauren linens. View the fireplace from the bed or the whirlpool.

Lona’s Suite
A feeling of calm is generated by the pastel colors and views of the gardens below. Two rooms were used to create this 400 square foot suite. As you walk through, you discover the fireplace, double whirlpool and a Victorian loveseat. A Birdseye maple headboard, dresser, dressing table and nightstand are vintage furnishings. A closet, refrigerator and coffeemaker are behind the poplar doors. Watch the fire from the bed or whirlpool. Honoring our heritage, we chose "Lona," short for Appolonia Justin, Don’s grandmother who with her husband, Gustave, had the house built by local carpenters in 1920. The bathroom with a tub/shower is not visible in the virtual tour.
