Widye www.widye.com As you approach Justin Trails Resort the landscape changes, your heart rate quickens as the dramatic rolling hills rise up around you. Turning off Highway 27 and onto County J Lush green forest surrounds the golden corn fields. Soon the big red barn comes into view. There it is. Stepping out of the car you smell the fresh air. A cool breeze floats down the valley. Feelings of pure calm and excitement hit you at the same time. Disc golf is a sustainable eco-friendly sport played in the great outdoors. There are two 18 hole courses at Justin Trails . The classic course follows our left hand valley and is about a mile in length. It takes a foursome about 2 hours to play. Expect a mix of wide open fairways, tightly wooded shots along the notorious Bambi Lane and dramatic elevation changes. The tee pads are 5 by 12' concrete and the baskets are Mac3. The Big Brother course constructed in 2007 and concrete tee pads in 2008 starts out our right hand valley with an opening 1050 foot shot. This course will test the mettle of the toughest players out there. The course is over three miles long and takes over three hours to play. If you are up to the challenge you&rsquoll find blind shots, enormous downhills, amazing vistas, many risk- reward scenarios, an incredible finish, and a day of golf you will never forget. You will be dropping putts into Mach three baskets. There has been an annual tournament at JT for the last 6 years. 2008 was our first time as a stop on the Wisconsin Tour. We keep our courses open year round.
Naturally we create joy with quality lodging and recreation in a secluded coulee. | ||
